School Uniform

School Uniform

The wearing of school uniform is compulsory. All children are expected to wear the correct school uniform, which can be seen below. We have high expectations of smartness, correct footwear and wearing our uniform with pride.  Parents are asked to clearly mark all uniform with their child’s name. Our uniform provider is The School Outfit.  

Boys

  • Embroidered / Plain Red Round Neck Jumper
  • Embroidered / Plain White Polo Shirt 
  • Grey Trousers 
  • Grey Shorts in Summer
  • Grey Socks 
  • Sensible Black Shoes (no trainers)

Girls

  • Embroidered / Plain Red Round Neck Jumper or Embroidered / Plain Red Cardigan
  • Embroidered / Plain White Polo Shirt
  • Tartan Skirt (not shorter than knee length) or Grey Trousers (full length not ¾ / no leggings)
  • Grey Tights / Socks
  • Sensible Black Shoes (no heels or trainers)
  • Red and White Gingham Dresses in Summer
  • Grey Shorts in Summer

Hair

Long hair neatly back with unfussy bands / bobbles / slides to avoid it being pulled or caught especially during PE. Extreme haircuts, tramlines/ colours are not permitted.

Jewellery

The wearing of any kind of jewellery in school is prohibited. The school cannot be held responsible for any lost items. Children who wish their ears to be pierced should wait until the beginning of the summer holidays, after which the earrings can safely be removed while in school. It is not permissible to cover earrings with a sticking plaster. Children may wear a wrist watch but this must be removed during PE lessons.

P.E. Uniform

Juniors

  • Navy Shorts or Navy Embroidered / Plain Joggers
  • Embroidered / Plain Red T-Shirt
  • Embroidered / Plain Red Hoody
  • Black Plimsolls / Trainers

Black Plimsolls are most appropriate for indoor and outdoor activities although children may wear trainers for outdoor activities. Football shirts or stripy tops are not permitted for PE lessons.

Sports day 2023

Thank you to everyone who came and made our sports day a fun and enjoyable afternoon. Well done to all involved, especially the green team who were the overall winners.

Healthy Heart Workshop

Our children listened very carefully in their healthy heart workshop. Now they know the basics of how to do CPR and use a defibrillator. These are great skills to have.

Shipley Art Gallery

Year 5 enjoyed a trip to Shipley Art Gallery. They looked at a variety of clay items, made their own clay item and looked around the art gallery.
